Import & distribution

Your importer, distributor and online team in the UK.

We're UK importer and distributor for a portfolio of brands from around the world. We take care of the whole route to market: getting stock here, getting it through customs and duty, and getting it sold direct to drinkers.

From the port of loading to the customer

What we take on.

Once your stock is loaded at origin, it's our job. One partner, one set of numbers, no hand-offs between agents.

01Freight

Shipping from origin

Sea or air freight, insurance and UK haulage, booked and paid for by us from the moment stock is loaded.

02Customs

Importer of record

We clear customs, check every document and use proof-of-origin paperwork to claim preferential tariffs where trade deals allow.

03Bond

Duty‑suspended storage

Stock lands in a UK bonded warehouse. Duty is only paid as bottles leave bond for UK customers.

04Sales

Sold across the UK

Amazon, online retail and your own UK web store, plus bars, restaurants and independents supplied from duty-paid trade warehousing. All from the same stock.

05Reporting

Everything visible

Live sales and stock in our portal, monthly bond reports, and a clear reconciliation every month.

Launching in the UK

A launch, not just a listing.

Arriving in a new market is a moment. The launch runs on infrastructure that's already live, so the first shipment lands into demand, not silence.

Pre-sale launches

Open UK pre-orders before stock lands, so the first shipment arrives with demand already behind it.

Tastings and launch events

London launch events and cellar tastings for buyers, press and tastemakers.

Your web store, run properly

We can run your UK store with you as the licensed seller: age checks, delivery, returns, and customer service that replies within a day.

Protected on Amazon

With Brand Registry access we list your range, look after the content and remove unauthorised sellers.

Placements across our group

Features, newsletters and fast London delivery through House of Decant, the Decant Group's own drinks store.

Launch, on rails

Pre-orders, your UK store, listings and trade supply all run through the same system from day one, with the marketing plan agreed up front.

How deals work

Exclusive, built around a launch.

We agree a buy price per bottle and buy your stock at that price. Everything from the port of loading to the drinker is handled by us, and the services, launch plan and marketing budget are agreed with you up front.

We usually start with a defined launch period and review it together before agreeing a longer-term appointment. That way both sides commit based on real results, not projections.

Into the EU

The same rails, across the mainland.

Stock moves under bond from the UK to our Netherlands hub, then to a bonded warehouse in each market. Excise and VAT are paid there, and the bottle is released to the retailer or the customer. Your brand sells in-market, cleared and compliant, from one stock pool.

Import FAQs

Before you ship.

How do we get paid when you import our brand?
We agree a buy price per bottle and buy your stock at that price. Services and launch budgets are agreed up front and itemised in the portal.
Where can you import from?
Anywhere the product can be legally shipped and sold in the UK. We work with producers in the Americas, the Caribbean and Europe.
Can stock in the UK be sold to EU customers?
Yes. Stock leaves UK bond duty-suspended, moves to our Netherlands hub and on to a bonded warehouse in each market. Excise and VAT are paid there, at that market's rates, and the bottle is released to the retailer or the customer.
What do you need from us to get started?
Product specifications, UK-compliant labels (check yours first with our label checker), pallet and case details, and your plans for the UK. We'll come back with a launch plan and proposed terms.
